Visiting forests across Odisha and different parts of India to identify orchid-rich ecosystems and medicinal plant zones. Rehabilitation of damaged forest areas through conservation initiatives involving local communities, rescue centers, sustainable protection systems, and livelihood support.
Formulated an important report on the status of rare orchid flora for inclusion under the Schedule of the Wildlife Protection Act (Amended 1991), strengthening orchid conservation policies in India.
Advised the State Government on conservation measures and the establishment of Orchid Sanctuaries, Protectorates, and Botanical Reserves to preserve rare and endangered flora.

Trained research scholars, RPRC scientists, university students, and Forest Department personnel in seed culture techniques. Rare medicinal seedlings raised in laboratories were successfully reintroduced into natural forests to restore depleted orchid species.
